ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Witness OEM to validate existing OCTG inventory (clean and visual of connections, visual of OD/ID)
Verify and validate OCTG accessories
Mark/tag damaged material
Inspector should include disposition of damage (repair, DBR, etc.)
Visual and verify internal components of float collars / float shoes / darts to gauge for any deterioration
Photograph all equipment including damage location where applicable
Generate reports documenting rejection and acceptance of inspections and testing activities
Generate clear, concise, and accurate reports documenting rejection and acceptance of activities under surveillance
NDT II Certification(s) (from an accredited body) UT, MPI, LPI
Thorough understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly, etc.)
Understanding of and experience with industry quality standards and codes (API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1, etc.)
NACE certification CIP Level II (or greater)
5+ years of experience in a Third Party Inspection role.
5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
