ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Be part of a team with extensive experience in Oil & Gas project developments and will lead and manage a site Company team of HSE and QA/QC professionals.
Be capable of working in a cross-functional manner with the package leaders and quality team to achieve technical solutions which meet the requirements of the concerned entities.
supervise the day to day fabrication activities performed by Contractor and witness and/or delegate to other CPY representatives the Contractor’s activities performed during the Construction works carried out by the Sub-Contractor.
ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting, both from the Contractor / Sub-Contractor and Company site teams, highlighting work progress, forecast, quality issues, HSE issues and concerns encountered during the performance of his duties.
To participate to regular reviews and meetings with Contractor to review KPI’S, improvement efforts, monitor, instruct, correct and report the working practices of Contractor as necessary.
Follow construction, FAT, storage (if applicable) and load-out activities on site. He shall maintain focus on the final product, to deliver the project safely, to specification and requisite quality, meeting or exceeding Company expectations
Company HSE policy is promoted and good standard and practices are in place, including proper reporting and efficient communication channels;
Contractor is enforcing his contractual commitments and is safely, properly and timely performing his activities as per Project specifications, design and codes;
To supervise the work of project resident personnel at the Site.
Site works are permanently followed;
Any technical, procurement or resources bottleneck which could lead to schedule slippage are identified;
Quality Assurance & Quality Control are properly managed.

Contract Execution Monitoring
The job holder shall have good knowledge of Project contractual and technical requirements related to Subsea Production System;
The job holder shall ensure that Contractor is delivering the WORK in line with the relevant contract requirements (HSE, quality, schedule) and approved project procedures (ITP, FAT, load-out)
The job holder shall monitor Contractor’s organization to ensure that adequate skills and experience are available and properly organized to carry out the work in line with the Contract requirements (HSE, quality, schedule);
To witness Audits performed by Contractor on its Suppliers, as required.
To participate in Contractor investigations of significant Quality failures or other work deficiencies.
To validate fabrication progress reporting from Subcontractors and Contractor.To foresee any fabrication schedule deviation and propose mitigation or corrective action.
With the help of resident project personnel, to review any problems or reported difficulties. To analyze / resolve issues and problems highlighted during the construction activities. To follow and expedite the remedial actions from finding and observations during the Audits or other activities.
The job holder shall monitor Contractor’s direct and safety manhours spent on construction activities to establish a manhours trend per equipment at the end of the project.
To review, comment and approve Contractor’s mechanical completion Documentation/Dossiers for correctness and conformity prior to a structured handover to commissioning team.
To ensure a progressive review and compilation of As-Built and Final documentation.
To ensure Site is working with safe practices.
To promote and challenge HSE initiatives during construction phase to keep people mobilized and safety minded.
Keep people aware of Project safety objectives.
Demonstrate, champion and promote Safety Leadership
Take functional responsibility for the health and safety of personnel working at site.
Monitor the HSE performance in the field and participate in site safety audits and incident investigations
The job holder will be assisted by a Company HSE Site Representative in the above duties
The candidate shall have extensive technical, practical and leadership experience as company representative on site, including experience in senior construction management positions and construction project management.
Have experience with construction, integration, testing and final delivery of subsea equipment, including integration of valves, control system and chemical injection networks
Have good knowledge of subsea production system codes and standards used for design, manufacturing and testing.
Have experience with construction, integration, testing and final delivery of subsea production system components.
Minimum experience: 15 years of experience in site construction management with proven track record in similar positions with minimum of 10 years in subsea EPC projects.
Proficient level of knowledge and experience and safe working practices on offshore construction projects.
Thorough understanding of the onshore/offshore construction environment.
Excellent organizational ability and commitment to meeting deadlines
Strong communication and proficient presentation skills and capable to represent the Company and the project in front of third parties and other stakeholders in a professional and organized manner.
Team worker capable of working autonomously
Ability to get along well with others and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving situations.
Ability to multi-task and work as part of small and flexible team.
Fluency in the English language with competency in Spanish desirable
Duration of assignment: 8-10 months
Start Date: January 2021 (or sooner)
